Our support were fantastic. Should be an enjoyable trip back from the North East for once.

Sorry but callieri s two shots were both pathetic side passes. But lucky with the deflection. other than that looked like He didn't want the ball. He is not the answer and won't be here next season.

I love wins like that. Well deserved imho. Winnie was a rock again, Antonio was a bit rough but worked his nuts off. Carroll was decent.
even Some signs of a player in Calleri. Obiang another decent performance by the big man another 3 goals without the frog. Decent tactics by slav, nowt too complain About

Personally, I thought he looked better than he did in any of his previous performances.
But that's very low bar.

On the balance of chances created we nicked that. Their only real threat came through Traore who is some player and it was squeaky valve time when he got a run at our defence. We held on here a bit later on and would have been gutted if they got an equalizer.

What a relief...libing dangerously most of second half...Traore unstoppable...luckily he didn't do much damage with final ball...but what a player.
39% possession and most of second half in our half...couple of lucky escapes...but held out...
The subs came through ...Fernandes forced...Calleri forced ...Ginge correct for Feghouli who faded and we needed defensive orotection...
Great defensive work second half...Reid...Ogbonna...Obiang...Cresswell and Byram suspect ...but against a star winger... Felt we have them too much room in MF...but we kept them at bay in Pen Area...
MOTM...Carroll.. Very Good....Reid...Antonio...Lanzini...Obiang... Good...Obiang...Randolph... OK...Cresswell...Byram...but both had a tough time with Traore... Fernandes did his job ...Ginge added defence...could have come on earlier...
Overall we deserved it for stout defensive work...but could easily have just got one point...but we also missed good chances...Lanzini and Calleri...
Antonio looking very good again...set up Carroll second...and a lone threat going forward especially when Carroll off...
Well done Bilic ...Well done team...
But we definitely miss a fully functioning Payet...or top replacement...
Glad to get 3 points...but more space from bottom 3...

Chambers looked very good for them. Are arsenal going to keep him? Might be worth a shout.
And are we in for Jenkinson?
I feel like shocking up on British players nowadays...

Strange game, we could have been four up before they scored - 2x Micky and a nailed on penalty against Nobes
Calleri then Lanzini missed sitters second half
Yet they had 69% possession and we defended the second half, not quite hanging on but under pressure
Enjoyed that

That was a horrendous challenge on Noble, about an hour late and right in front of the ref.

Not seen the game but a great result and sounds like it was a cracking game Funny how we have scored 3 in each of the last two games after whatshisname has not played. Scott Hogan left out of Brentford's squad so maybe will be joining Fonte in contention for our next game v Man City 10 days away. Things looking up and in the top half COYI

Atkinson was consistently shit all game.
Most shit refs actually make a lot of good decisions in a match, and then fuck up on a couple of big ones.
Atkinson gets top marks for consistency
